Ephesians 6:10-18 specifically encourages us to stand firm against the schemes of the devil. Our struggle is not against flesh and blood but against forces of darkness.
1 Peter 5:8 was our scripture memory for last week which reminds us that Satan is prowling around like a roaring lion waiting for someone to devour. Our job is going to be to realize that it is happening and that we need to protect our self with the “full armor of God.” This armor is specifically designed for us as Christians to protect our hearts and mind against the devil’s schemes.
These ladies saw first hand how flesh and blood can be tempted to act out in anger, violence and rage. We also saw God take control, protecting us and also teaching a fantastic object lesson to these women about how important the armor of God is.
Please continue to pray for them as they discover God’s love for them. Satan does NOT want them to know how incredibly special they are to their heavenly Father. Prayer warriors, you know what to do! We covet your prayers for these ladies and for us.

God told my heart to talk about fear again. Even though we had already spoken about this topic last week it was evident that we needed to revisit it. The hurt and pain was right on the surface. They revealed deep and hidden grief that only a few had expressed before now.
We talked about these fears and hurts in depth and suggested that they stop thinking about themselves and start thinking about God. God would take their hurt and pain and turn it into something that would glorify Him. How wonderful to realize that all we have been through would not be wasted. First we need to trust Him with our lives then watch Him work!
What a huge responsibility to realize that God has placed us (volunteers) there for such a time as this and to know that He is at work in the body of Christ and all we need to do is follow His lead. He already knows the hearts of the women coming to us and all we have to do is follow Him. He’ll do the rest. Thank you, Prayer Warriors, for lifting us up to God each and every week. We could not do this God-sized task without you.

Over the years, we have seen thousands and thousands of women filter in and out of the ministry we provide each Monday. In all that time we have prayed that what we are doing is good and right and that some will come to know Christ as a result of our efforts.
It can be heart wrenching to watch as some make a commitment to Christ but are still afraid of what lies ahead. They operate in complete fear and shame of what they have done and it is a deciding factor in their every move. These issues paralyze them and cause devastating effects on them and their families.
We confessed today that we could not actually help them. We could only bring them His Word and testimonies. God was who they needed and who they would need to surrender to. Accepting Jesus as their Savior would be pivotal in their healing process. We told them God loves them and wants a personal relationship with each one of them. Once they believed through faith that God was right there beside them every step of the way they would experience a difference in their lives.
This was as eye opening for us as it was for them. We can become so burdened with their struggles and personal situations that we are overwhelmed as volunteers with the complexity of their lives.
We are asking for prayer for ourselves as well as the ladies we are ministering to. Satan has seemingly unleashed his wrath on many who attend, causing great distress. Please pray for them as they work their way to Jesus!!!
